Los espacios fluviales y sus ecosistemas asociados pueden ser una parte fundamental para el desarrollo de los espacios rurales y su medio ambiente, espacios fluviales sanos y limpios son un activo importante a tener muy en cuenta.

RURAL AQUA HIDROAMBIENTE21 aporta como principal valor añadido la adopción de un modelo común y complementario para la valorización sostenible de los espacios fluviales CANALES DE RIEGO Y SISTEMAS DE APROVECHAMIENTO DEL AGUA EN EL MEDIO RURAL y cauces históricos, y el desarrollo de nuevas actividades sostenibles en el medio rural
Objetivos
Con la puesta en marcha del proyecto y el desarrollo de las actividades en cada uno de los territorio de los grupos participantes se pretenden obtener una serie de resultados asociados a la valoración sostenible de los espacios fluviales CANALES DE RIEGO Y SISTEMAS DE APROVECHAMIENTO DEL AGUA EN EL MEDIO RURAL.

COTTAGE AQUA HIDROAMBIENTE21 main added value brings the adoption of a common and complementary to the sustainable recovery of fluvial IRRIGATION CANALS AND WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IN RURAL and historical channels and developing new sustainable activities in the rural areas, agreed by all local actors through local participation. Another added value is the incorporation of the principles of Environmental Sustainability and Social Territorial Responsibility. 
The results that can be obtained with the implementation of the project and the development of activities in each of the territories of the participating groups are: 
The direct beneficiaries are the inhabitants of territories that are located in the river areas covered by the project and form part of the participants in the GAL. The local population and the environment through improving environmental quality, rural landscape and access to more and better infrastructure and equipment will have the greatest returns.
